Aggie’s Pastoral Worker
Appointed in April 2020, Debbie Sutton is the first Pastoral Worker to be assigned specifically to the Royal Fleet Auxillary. She is based on Whale Island and working alongside the RFA Chaplain in West Battery. Use of the Chaplains office next door to St Barbara’s church provides a perfect setting for a quiet environment suitable for recording Storybook Waves.
Coming from an NHS background, Debbie has much to learn about Service life and is taking every opportunity to meet people and find out what working in the RFA involves.
