    Aggie’s Pastoral Worker

    Jim has over 30 years experience in the Royal Navy and has been a family solicitor in Scotland and a ship welfare visitor and administrator with the international Christian seafarers societies, Mission to Seafarers and Stella Maris for many years. His current Aggie’s involvement is at MOD CALEDONIA at Rosyth where he worked with families of the growing ship’s company of HMS PRINCE OF WALES in build there until she sailed for contractor’s trials and eventual commissioning in 2019.

    He has been involved in maritime charities since 2005 and is a current active ship welfare visitor with Stella Maris, the Apostleship of the Sea in the Forth Estuary area where he is the Parish Representative for St Margaret’s Memorial Church in Dunfermline. His hobbies are and have been walking, distance running, golf and choral singing with two international choirs.

    Jim is married to Betty and they live in Dunfermline, Fife and have, between them, six children and fourteen grandchildren.
